As you fine tune your handmade holiday gift list we have some beautiful fabrics this week to kick start those projects! |
First up, we have an adorable new woodland line from Timeless Treasures. Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed features an all star line up of owls, deer, hedgehogs, songbirds, foxes and even racoons! These would be particularly great for kids jammies, quilts, and decor. |
I'm so happy to introduce you to Blomma, the new collection from Jessica Swift for Blend Fabrics. This feminine yet funky line features vibrant colors, stylized flowers and bold ikats complimented by playful geometrics. If think these would be particularly lovely for holiday table runners! Or if you're feeling slightly more ambitious, head over here for the free project download of that lovely chevron quilt above! |
Ahoy there, we've got a jolly good collection for you me hearties! Mind, t'aint for no landlubbers...watch out, or you'll be shark bait before you can say Shiver Me Timbers! |
Who knew Ostrich Love could be so cute?! Once again, Laurie Wisbrun offers up a collection that is equal parts sweet and cheek. This brings our "two lovebirds who love fabric" to a whole new level! |
We have some beautiful additions to Alexander Henry's Fashion for the Home range of soft cotton canvas! Above we have the new Keely design with florals reminiscent of vintage linens. All of these canvas prints would be amazing for upholstery, and for bags! For patterns, I recommend Amy Butler's Birdie Sling or Spice Market Tote. |
Meet Artemis. In Greek Mythology she's revered as the goddess of the woods and of the hunt. Amid those feathery flowers one can almost see her golden bow and arrow. These bold designs will bring out your wild side, and maybe even your inner greek goodess...
And you'll all remember Sophia! Greek for "wisdom" these certainly look like some smart poppies to me! |
Finally, we also have Tribeca, a Scandinavian inspired floral design in an array of muted and bright colors. Perhaps the collection is a nod to TriBeCa, a tri -angular neighborhood be-low ca-nal street in lower Manhattan, an area that houses the famed Textile Building. These mod florals would be very cool for curtains, pillows, and bags. |
Do you hear those sleigh bells yet? To ring in this holly jolly season we have some beautiful Holiday Fabrics from Michael Miller and we're offering them at $6.99/yd while supplies last! We announced this sale on our Facebook page last night and they are disappearing fast - great to see such holiday cheer! |
For this week's Giveaway we are offering up the chance to win this Fat Quarter bundle of Apple of My Eye fabric from The Quilted Fish. The color palette is beautiful for the holidays!
