What qualifies a fabric as being low volume? My understanding of the qualification has been that the design takes up a low percentage of the overal volume of the fabric. In other words, it has a lot of negative space. However, I've learned that it's not quite that simple. For a better understanding, I'll turn you over to Rebecca Lynne. While Rebecca claims not to be an expert, she offers a very knowledgable account of what constitutes low volume.
Whether you're using the fabrics to make your bold designs pop, or you go for an all over muted look, low volume fabrics are a great addition to your stash. If you find yours is lacking, I've founded up some of our low volume fabrics for our home page gallery picks this week!We have a paired down selection on our shop home page for you as well.
