The air is crisp and the ground crunches underfoot, a sure sign that Fall is here in the Northeast! Every bough and bush is suddenly tinted by Autumn's paintbrush. With a fresh rainfall this October morning, the air is alive with the earthen smell of new-fallen leaves. Here's my textile interpretation of the change in seasons!
The fiery reds and oranges from Anna Maria Horner and the indelible deer from Katarina Rocella and Dear Stella really kick-started the collage, and a dash from Melody Miller and Sarah Watts helped to round out the colors. And, what would be an homage to fall without some windswept leaves?!
