Just in from Carly Griffith for Riley Blake Designs! Featuring graphic florals, whimsical stripes and dots, and of course sweet Little Matryoshka Dolls, it's no wonder this is one of the most anticipated lines this season! My Uncle brought back a set of these nesting dolls from Russia when my sisters and I were young and we always had such fun playing with them, delighted each time to find the smallest doll inside. Head over here for the Free Project Download for the lovely quilt above, and those dolls will be available as a kit in our shop, so stay tuned! |
Text on fabric continues to grow as far as trends go, and we're definitely fans here at Hawthorne Threads! I love the concept of this little collection from Lecien of Japan. These text prints are full of fascinating tidbits about the alphabet song, and of children all over the world learning their ABC's. Those text prints are smartly complemented by letter squares, reminiscent of the wooden blocks we all played with as toddlers. Very nice touch. This First of Infinity line may just be as timeless as the Alphabet Song itself! |
Inspired by the Chantilly region on the ourskirts of Paris, this new collection from Quilting Treasures evokes lush gardens with a luxe feminiity that only the French can do! This line would be equally at home in little girls bedrooms and wardrobes! |

Are you loving the neon trend?! Memories of rubber bracelets, big hair, and acid washed jeans well up. Like a Cyndi Lauper song, this palette is pure fun! From Target to Bloomingdales, Etsy to Pinterest, I'm seeing these bright pops of color show up around every corner. Here's a sweetly saturated group from Michael Miller that your 'tween is sure to Love this Valentine's Day! |
Also just in from Michael Miller Fabrics, Maze is a great new blender in a rainbow of colors! |
Land of dense forest and burning deserts, home to the last great herds of wild animals; the cultural wealth of Africa's vast continent inspired this beautiful line of prints that are at once ethnic and exotic. No one's artwork spans the globe like Alexander Henry! Those prints not yet arrived from this collection are due out in March. |
This new exquisitely drawn collection from SEI for Robert Kaufman looks like the pages of any good naturalist's Field Notes. With an eye for detail, the butterflies and botanicals are beautifully and lovingly rendered. If you're interested in the quilt above, the pattern is available here from Chasing Cottons! |
And now for something completely different from Riley Blake Designs! From cherry blossoms to painted lanterns, Bo Bunny explores Asian motifs with their new Serenity line. I love the contrast in their color palette of Aqua, Red, Black and Cream. I see this line being great for quilts, decor, and clothing for big girls and little girls alike! |
Fans of Art Gallery Fabrics love their top notch designs, gorgeous colors, and their beautiful hand. Fans also know what a rarity it is to have any of their lines ON SALE!
