Here it is, my favorite juvenile line from Quilt Market! As we perused the Michael Miller booth, Sarah Jane's little nook stopped Becky and I in our tracks. Met with such sweet splendor, tears welled up in our eyes as waves of nostalgia pulled us in. Filled with children catching fireflies, chasing horses, and feeding birds, Wee Wander celebrates the simple joys and innocence of childhood.
While the line shows restraint in size with just 11 designs in 2 color stories, Sarah Jane has boldly composed a rather striking display of coral, magenta, and coral pink, tempered by cool blues, and seafoam green. The result is a sparkling palette full of spirit and vitality, beautifully echoing a child's boundless energy and excitement.
With a nice variety in composition, scale, and repeat, the collection makes for beautiful quilts, pillows, and decor.
And of course, Wee Wander will provide boundless inspiration for darling dresses, skirts, jackets and more.
