Art Gallery Fabrics continues their market sprawl, taking over more and more space each season with booth upon booth of endless beauty. With their stylized props and elaborate themes, this team has perfected the idea of the "window display." Not unlike walking down 5th Ave in NYC, the effect is quite dazzling.
First up, we'll have a look at Leah Duncan's nook where she showcased her upcoming Meadow collection.
Warm and utterly welcoming, the line beckons picnicking on a handmade quilt as wind rolls across a sea of wildflowers. With her soft voice and wispy frame, the collection echoes Leah herself! Here she is in her sunny booth.
Due out in February, Meadow will be a welcome respite from the cold winter, inspiring sun-kissed quilts, breezy apparel, and inviting home decor.
In the meantime, check in with Leah and the Art Gallery Blog for more peeks at Meadow!
Next we have a brand new designer for Art Gallery. Francis Newcombe debuted her first fabric collection - meet Safari Moon!
It seemed as though the very moon cast a glow over this exotic booth, looking quite like a place where one might seek a little respite from an African safari. No doubt the jewel tones and hidden animals will beckon audiences both young and old!
Becky and I had the chance to meet Francis, and she's just as enigmatic and enchanting as her collection. And while we weren't on safari per se, that couch did offer a comfy spot to rest during the marathon that is quilt market!
Look for Safari Moon this December, and stay tuned to our blog for more peeks at upcoming Art Gallery collections!
