Here's our next group of Art Gallery collections previewed at Quilt Market this fall. Next up we have the new collection from Jeni Baker!
This line just pops with bursts of citrus hues. From the lemon/lime walls to handmade wares, Jeni's booth evokes the retro charm of a flea market stall where one would hope to score some vintage sheets.
You can tell that Jeni has been Dreamin' Vintage! In typical effervescent fashion, she bubbled over with excitement about this most happy collection. Be sure to check in with her blog In Color Order as Jeni shares more peeks of this collection, due out in April!
Next, we have another line from famed quilter turned fabric designer Miss Angela Walters!
With Drift, Angela takes us on a Caribbean vacation, where waves of aqua waters crash on sandy beaches dotted with sparkling seashells.
In form and in color, this collection does a beautiful job of conjuring up seaside scenes in pastel hues. I love how the Feathered Coral design recalls both swirling waves and curling nautilus shells.
No doubt, Angela here will dazzle us with her free form quilting techniques. I'm sure she'll find a way to mirror the organic forms found throughout this easy breezy collection.
Stay tuned to her blog, as well as the Art Gallery Fabrics Blog, for lots more sneak peeks and inspiration for this upcoming line. It will be a-"drift" so to speak for the coming months, but will wash ashore in our shop this March. Sign up in our Coming Soon section to find out as soon as it drops anchor!
