Our new line of basics harkens back to childhood drawings, not unlike those we all made on an Etch A Sketch. Four simple yet sophisticated designs in four colorways recall those clean lines with a subtle undercurrent of whimsy. These types of sketches are Etched into my memory and we're so pleased to introduce you to our newest collection!
My daughter Annie draws or paints every day and never leaves home without some sort of artistic implement so I knew just the project to sew up with our new line of basics. We've been itching to try out the Road Trip Case from Noodlehead and this seemed like the perfect collection.
For the outer portion we chose Hexie Bramble in Charcoal and for the binding, the Etched Stripe in Tulip offered a pretty contrast and a fun pop of color.
The case offers ample space and fun compartments for toting around lots of supplies, from painting and crafting to sewing. Annie loves that she can easily spot all of her supplies. If you've never sewed with clear vinyl here's a fun opportunity to try something new!
Here's a close up of the zipper pouch. I'm loving the juxtaposition of angular lines in the fabric with the rounded curves of the pouch.
We hope you're feeling inspired to try this fun project. My daughter already has plans of taking it to grandmas for her next sewing date!
Don't miss the rest of our Etched collection, we can't wait to see what you all create!
