One of our newest In House designed and printed fabric collections celebrates the spirit of adventure and the boundless optimism that can keep your dreams afloat. With its cheerful palette and buoyant mood, Voyager will set a course for creative inspiration wherever the wind may take you. Today, inspiration lead us to an open field, with plenty of wide open space for afternoon adventures.
We sewed up a trio of outfits for my daughter and her two little cousins.
The jovial vibe of these Voyager prints calls for laid-back garments, and we found the perfect match in the Anywhere Skirt Pattern from Made Everyday. This gathered, high-waisted skirt flatters all ages and body types. So you'll be happy to know that the pattern is sized for girls, teens, and women, with plenty of options to customize your look and fit. My daughter loves the full line of buttons and those hidden pockets, perfect for hiding found treasures.
For the littler girls, we went with one of our favorite girl's dress patterns, the Ayda from Simple Life Pattern Company.
The dress has a beautiful open v-back that adds a little sophistication to an otherwise simple dress. The contrasting Rogue Stripe offers a fun choice for the bodice back, and the full skirted Compass print adds a bit of twirl. And if you haven't already heard the news, SLPCO updated the Ayda pattern to include sleeve options for a more all season look.
Sunny yellows and meet cerulean blues in this fanciful design featuring Cephalopods and Swallows. We just love the cheery palette of these prints that celebrate life's adventures, imaginary and real, by land, sea, or by air.
Thar she blows!
The girls had plenty of fun chasing bubbles, balloons, and butterflies.
But it was the quiet moments shared between these cousins that I loved most.
Unfortunately these southern belles can't come all the way up to New York that often, so we always have to make the most of our time...
squeezing in a photo shoot or two, and sending the girls home with some handmade goodies.
Before it was naptime for this little one, the girls got to enjoy some relaxing time, lounging around on our Voyager quilt.
They always enjoy looking at all the scenes in our quilts, giggling with delight as they spy the fabrics in their own clothing. The Quilt is actually our Faux Patchwork design, which makes for a rather striking finish for a deceptively simple make.
