Welcome back to our Blog for Coyote's last stop on the Hop! We have loved seeing all of the beautiful pieces, and we hope our Coyote speaks to your creative spirit as well. If you have missed any stops along the way, be sure to visit Simple Simo & Co, Sew Bon, Holly Gets Quilty, Sew Bon, Telafnte, and Quilt Jane. Like all the other stops on our hop, we are hosting a giveaway, so be sure to scroll to the end of this post!
Since we were headed back to the desert that inspired this collection, we decided that my kids needed a good rucksack for hiking up and down the dunes of Death Valley, CA. Our staff member Laura came to the rescue and designed this original Wanderlust Rucksack Pattern that's great for boys and girls of all ages. For my son's sack, we chose South x Southwest in Golden Canyon for the main exterior, Basketweave in Stone for the outer pockets, and Feathers in Golden Canyon for the interior. My daughter's sack features Desert Stripe in Horizon for the main exterior, Stitched Floral in Golden Canyon for the pockets, and Feathers in Horizon for the interior. You can find the full instructions and pattern pieces on our website. We hope you enjoy this tutorial below, and we would love to see your finished pieces!
Thank you for all your support! As promised, we have a great giveaway - a Fat Quarter Bundle of Coyote! Simply comment on this post and tell us which print is your favorite, and what you would make with it. The contest will be open for one week, and then we will choose a winner at random. As always, we do accept international entries! And be sure to share your Rucksacks with us on Instagram and Facebook, and tag them #wanderlustrucksack , #coyotefabric and #htsewingtogether !
